When I was a child I hated my name because all the other bits were named John or Greg or Bob. By the time I was in high school, I lived myname because all the other boys were named John or Greg or Bob.

My ex is nine years older than I am, and that relationship lasted twenty years.

My current is eleven years younger than I am.

I've gone from having Daddy issues to being the Daddy.

Don't worry about the age difference. Date who you want to date, marry who you want to marry, and let's all agree that #1 is an asshole. (p.s. to #1: I know a pair of identical twins who are both gay. Both, as it happens, also are into older men).
Aug 5, 2016 Clayton commented on Melania Trump Denies She Broke US Immigration Laws.
Oh--and the RNC also has a plank about the need to protect intellectual property--yet parts of Melania's speech are plagiarized. So let's add that to the RNC hypocrisy tally.
Aug 5, 2016 Clayton commented on Melania Trump Denies She Broke US Immigration Laws.
There are so many reasons to dislike Trump on his own merits that I don't get all the Melania bashing.

If anyone should be bashed--it's the RNC, which claims that (a) every child deserves a married mom and dad, (b) extra-marital sex is wrong, (c) homosexual activity is wrong, (d), porn is wrong, (d) illegal immigration is wrong, and yet they choose as their standard bearer a twice-divorced, thrice married serial philanderer who has yet to live with a wife until their kids are grown, and who is currently married to a woman with a shady immigration past who has posed for lesbian erotica.

Let's put the blame where it really belongs--on the hypocrisy of the RNC.

Call me Scott @ 6. Apparently nobody taught Mathematics at your school. If 2383 pledged delegates are needed for nomination, and Sanders has 1589, he would 794 to reach the magic number. In other words, he would need every single unpledged delegate, plus 220 more pledged delegates that he would...what? Borrow from Ted Cruz? Hillary may not have reached the magic number, but it is mathematically impossible for Bernie to get there.

Why bother bringing in somebody who never polled outside of low single digits?

What is a "complete street," and why does it require quotation marks?
May 20, 2016 Clayton commented on Elle/Esquire Magazine: Science Says Run From Any Guy Who Is Friends With His Ex!.
I'm friends with my college boyfriend and with the long-term partner who came after him. I also maintain casual friendships with several people I used to date. My husband has a similar collection of friends. Life is too short to cast good people out of your life just because the relationship didn't work.

The only one I really don't want to see again is a guy I dated who turned out to be a control freak and a compulsive liar. Not worth the drama.

It also occurs to me that there is a lot of class-based moral shaming, as though only the working poor abuse substances or cheat on their spouses. Apparently the author has never heard of Rush Limbaugh or Newt Gingrich.
