@5 Do good deeds, go to heaven? That actually sounds like a big deal. I'm nonreligious so I don't really have my fingers on the pulse of this pope stuff, but one of my major annoyances with Christianity is the idea that your behavior doesn't matter as long as you ask for forgiveness. Seems like a shitty copout to get away with bad stuff. So if the pope's preaching a different message, that's great. Might stop a few people from acting like sanctimonious assholes.

@3 also, that's only for the XBox. PS1-PS4 release dates are 1994, 2000, 2006, 2013. That's a consistent 6-7 years each.

@4 Shining Force 2 is such a great game - there aren't enough great tactical RPGs. Check out Final Fantasy Tactics and Valkyria Chronicles if you haven't.

@2 Totally agree. It's cool that the finale has turned into such a big event, but it's also turned into a pageant reunion where everyone gives softball answers to softball questions. To not get the winner's genuine reaction makes it even worse.

What I've learned from the recent slew of posts about kids shooting each other: If the kid is 7 or younger, it's described as "accidental." But at age 8 (the Alaska boy who shot his sister) a criminal investigation is required. Justice!
