I'm glad we millennials look at cars as an occasional appliance with utility, as opposed to an extension of our self-worth or genetalia.

The situation with a homosexual couple was politically correct?! That gets my blood boiling. Why didn't this program show them giving each other AIDS and then instantly dying from it? It's all that we gay people do. Besides being sassy hairstylists who provide comic relief.

I don't understand the personal safety aspect of owning a gun. My dad has a huge arsenal carefully locked away and unloaded. So if some asshole breaks in, is he going to run over to the gun safe, put in his code, pull out his gun, scramble for ammo, unlock the ammo, put in the ammo, and then go find the intruder and wave his gun around?
I just don't understand who is safer with a gun collection in the home. Certainly not the home's occupants, that's for sure.
commented on Jason Collins Is the Envy of Straight Men Everywhere
It was so strange for me when I arrived in Seattle as a formerly closeted, formerly Mormon gay guy to come to the realization that most authentically straight men didn't give a shit if I were gay, or even if I were attracted to them. Previously, I had thought that all straight men would assume I was mentally undressing them at all times.
Around that time I got drunk on my stoop one night w/ two straight neighbors. One asked if I though the was attractive. I effusely reassured him that, no, I wasn't. Then he got agitated and said "why the fuck not?"
Come to think of it, that was also the first night I learned the difference between red and white wine. My, I had to do a lot of catching up.
