Spoiled Rotten: Star Trek Into Darkness.
The opening scene, the spacewalk and Simon Pegg are the only bits I enjoyed. It was also nice that Tyler Perry did not reprise his role.
The plot is nonsense and I have to assume it was stolen from some slash fanfic and was then further degraded by Abrams.

Would You Like to Be Entertained for a Shorter Period or a Longer Period?.
When movies or plays cross roughly the 2:20 mark, they count as being 'long' for me.
Long books are fine: you can always put the book down, skip ahead, skim through the unnecessary descriptions or the begats. I enjoy books that require multiple sittings to finish; the breaks force me to consider the whole work at several points through the story.
Long movies are potentially acceptable, at least now when most people see them at home and can pause or fast forward. Not in the theater though.
Long plays are frequently terrible: your shit better be astounding to keep an audience hostage for 150+ minutes.

Saint Genet Re-Creates "Shoot".
If you don' t like it then don't enable it. Walk away.
If you feel a 'duty' to witness it, then don't complain about it because you're part of it.

Which Fox TV Series Looks Worse?.
I have to assume that Green and Ribisi are appearing in Dads in lieu of serving time.
"So what will it be, either 5 years at Lompoc or 8-episodes of a MacFarlane sitcom?"
"Todd?"
"No, Seth."
"Shit."
