Dom - I agree with your post in general, BUT:

1 - it took 30 years (3 decades) to pass Cal Anderson's non-discrimination bill. Saying it took over a decade, while not incorrect t minimizes the extent of the effort
2 - Roe v Wade had nothing to do with contraception. Contraception is the act of preventing pregnancy. Roe v Wade was about a woman's right to terminate a pregnancy. The right of woman to access contraception was Griswold v Connecticut in 1965.

I don't believe (though I might be wrong), that "Local Access Only" is actually legally enforcable. So you could end up with cars on that road driving more than the requested 1/2 block anyway.

Dom - the Council would not have hired him if the Councilmembers didn't agree with offering him the position. Plus, Dan represented the will of the majority of the Council when working on the tunnel campaign. It was O'Brien that was opposed to to Council, not Nolte to any individual members. Let's get real here.

Sam's partner in crime, Avrum (aka Alex), has filed so many frivilous suits in small claims court against various politicians, that the court took the extraordinary measure of requiring him to get the approval of a judge before filing more small claims suits against politicians. His reaction: he filed a suit against the judge.

@8 - many modern Nazis, or neo-nazis, while claiming there will be a race war, etc, are careful to not directly advocate genocide. They argue more like the KKK - a seperation of them from us because we are better, holier, more civilized, etc than they are.
I believe the writer meant he had friends who were neo-nazis, not actual German nazis of the 1940's.

While a good sign, it hasn't passed the House of Commons yet. This was a vote on second reading. It still must get through floor debate and be voted on for final passage. Only then will it go to the House of Lords. It is possible (though unlikely) that it could get enough votes to get through second reading, yet stll fail after a floor debate.

Suicide rates in Hungary (and with Hungarians outside of Hungary too) have always been extremely high. Much higher than elsewhere. The country is always in the top tier when compared to not only other European countries, but other countries around the world.
