I saw Hoffer rehearsing Hairspray last night (obvious disclosure: I'm in the chorus), and he is spectacular. Seeing him perform (well, rehearse) out of drag underscores how truly talented he is. The costumes and makeup are secondary.

There are performances Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, with two performances each on Saturday and Sunday. That's six performances, so you have no excuse not to be at one of them, at least.

@9 - Frankly, the reason doesn't matter to me, and I don't believe it should be up to the government to determine what's an acceptable reason to have an abortion. But really, the kind of person who would abort a baby because she wants to keep partying is just about the last person I'd want to see nurturing a baby. Then again, it's not my uterus, no matter what her motive is.
