A Colorado appeals court ruled that employers can fire for off duty mj use. Washington courts may go the same way, but certainly will support on-duty mj use like these fools. What kind of service do I want to use where the employees are stoned? Dumb asses.

Indeed, the problem with majority-minority gerrymandering is that, yes, we get a reasonable assurance that a minority will be elected from that district, but the minority population of the other districts is less because we have gerrymandered minorities into a single district (or more than one, but in any case, limited). There are minority members of Congress in Texas who do a fine job of representing their constituents. The rest of the yahoos don't have to listen to the smaller number of minorities in their districts because they are a small minority. Districting has advantages, but if the districts are created to effectively segregate minorities, they lose.-

Chanukah is a Jewish holiday. It is also a holiday in Israel but it's not an Israeli holiday. There is a touch (or more) of racism in linking a Jewish holiday with bad things Israel does. I'm a Jew. I condemn Israel's policies and treatment of Palestinians. I am not responsible for Israel's policies and treatment of Palestinians. No. 2 & 11: STFU.

Before DNA comparisons, police used a black light on suspected semen stains because acid phosphatase is present in semen. It's not conclusive since acid phosphatase is present in other bodily secretions including vaginal secretions, albeit in smaller quantities. But it is an adequate first test and will, with semen, light up like a Grateful Dead poster.
