This is one of those horrific events that I will always remember where I was and what I was doing the night I heard about it. I remember feeling fear and that my partner and I are vulnerable as we sit in our little house in south Seattle where we see dangerous men lurk on a regular basis.

whoa whoa whoa. wait just a minute - I have heard a number of gay men tell me that they don't care if someone is a fearmongering Republican fanatic, if he's hot and has a nice dick. I am imagining heading downtown to work at 7:00am to find drunks all over as they spill out of bars as the sun rises.

While SPD is hanging out in belltown condos to assess noise levels with the Nordstroms of the city, the rest of the city will become even less safe than it already is.

darbar, are you fucking kidding? You need to relate to the art? how can art be made to meet everyone's taste and experience? And how did this become about you and your dissatisfaction in your job?

The people that complained need therapy to deal with their issues/ptsd. They definitely don't need to be controlling public art. They work for the public, they work in an area that serves the public.

The piece sounds amazing.
