Just a reminder, Marco Rubio only became a Senator in 2010 because of low turnout amongst minorities angry about the Great Recession and because Democratic voters divided their votes between Kendrick Meeks and Governor Charlie Crist. And even then he only won with 48.9% of the vote.

2016 is going to be a very different election, especially if Clinton is at the top of the ticket and especially with newly elected DEMOCRATIC (and pro marriage equality) Governor Charlie Crist rallying Democratic voters.

If the Florida Democratic Party gets their shit together and if a strong candidate goes up against him, Rubio is in deep shit.

Forget about being president. Rubio has a 50/50 chance of being a one term Senator.

@2 there's a huge difference between an person's sexuality and an person's individual sex acts with either a man/ woman.

Biologically we are not all heterosexual. If anything we are all bisexual.

Regardless, your side has lost and gays, lesbians, bisexuals, transexuals and polyamorous folks will never go back into the closet.

There is no way Christie gets the GOP nomination. The GOP nomination is wide open, unlike in 2012 when Romney was the favorite after 2008. There is no way the Republican Party picks a "moderate" (by current Republican standards) in 2016. They are going further to the right.

And if Christie does get the GOP nod, there is no way he can win over younger voters. He is the SOLE reason why marriage equality is not happening in New Jersey, even when most polls show upwards of 60% of the state are in support of it. He's also cut millions from education in the state.

He also is a pompous asshole, only out for himself, as can be seen in how he's calling for a special Senate election only two weeks before the November regular elections.

If it were between him and Hilary Clinton, Clinton would win New Jersey easily.

Bloomberg's PAC also scored a big win earlier this year by electing a pro gun control Democrat over an NRA backed Democrat in the primary to replace Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. in Illinois.

You are completely incorrect of course. Bloomberg's PAC gave $ to 6 candidates in the final days of the 2012 campaign; 2 were Republicans while 4 were Democrats.

They won 3 of the races and lost three of the races, which is a much better track record than the NRA or Karl Rove's PAC by the way.
