When I bar tended late night bars in the late 80's, one of which was known as a notorious gay bar, I knew several gay Division I football players. I knew guys who dated pro football players, some I even met. I have always known there were gay men in sports. It is great they can start being themselves now.

On the swishy gay men Dan talks about. Most of the gay men I knew from that period of time were not the feminine kind. They were men, many rugged men. Many worked blue collar jobs. They were just guys. Of course, there is nothing quite like seeing an offensive lineman in a short dress and platform boots....

And Dan was correct about the main issue is about how straight men will react. Will they be men or will they be children?

My GF really tightens her ab muscles when she orgasms. It is easy to keep watch during oral to gauge what is working to getting her there. I suppose I could watch or try to keep a hand on her abs to see if she is truly getting off during intercourse. Of course, she never gets off during intercourse. It is either oral or manually. So I don't bother keeping track then.

If missing a leg doesn't prevent you from being fairly normal, I wouldn't. As in not having mobility issues and such. I've known people missing a leg who you wouldn't be able to tell unless you saw them in shorts. I also know a guy missing two legs who lives a more active lifestyle than most people with both legs- he pretty much wheres shorts all the time so everybody knows off the bat. I think it is more about what you feel comfortable disclosing.

Now, if you have shot your girlfriend dead through a bathroom door while not wearing a prosthetic? That should be disclosed.

I would pay to see it. As it stands now, I wait until Netflix has the DVD and watch it as part of my Netflix package. I wait a year, but HBO isn't making as much off me as they could. You figure they have some people doing calculations to find the price point to stream it at a price to maximize profit.

In Atlanta, we always consider the venue and the band. "Doors at 7, show at 8" means 8:30 for the opener in many venues. We show at 9 if we do not want to see the opener. Last week we went to a 7 o'clock show at 9:30, and only had to wait 15 minutes to see Bad Religion. I would have liked to have seen the 2nd band, but they venue runs notoriously late, and I was not going to gamble with an hour of my evening.

Not impressed. Republicans tend to be against stuff until it directly affects them. He hasn't suddenly gotten compassion. He hasn't suddenly been graced with an opened mind. He just suddenly got a gay son. This is like Nancy Reagan suddenly being for stem cell research because Ronnie needed it. If his son hadn't come out, he would still be bashing away and fighting against equality. And he really isn't even coming out for gay marriage, just saying that states should regulate it. Horseshit!
