How frakking difficult is it to create a trailer where the sound mix isn't so bad that the gawdawful music overwhelms the narration? Amateurishness at its worst. Instant credibility loss at its best.

Not that I advocate bringing anything resembling the "L.A. Lifestyle" to lovely Seattle,but they DO have a pretty handy system of signage in LA County for eateries. A large 'A' in the window shows that they've passed muster for regs and cleanliness. It's easy to avoid (or at least enter with 'caveat emptor') any establishment that has a C in the window. Couldn't King Co. do something similar?

Gospodean commented on Newt Gingrich: Legal Same-Sex Marriage Is a Thing That Is Happening Whether I Like It Or Not.

I love it that Gingrich has to actually say that he and other conservatives now have to "deal with reality." Which, of course, suggests that up until now they have been in a dream state. Whatever else is in that dream state? Reduced military spending? Higher taxes on the wealthy? The shifting demographics of the US of A? The need to regulate automatic weapons? A few are slooooowwwly waking up, issue by issue.
