Progresso's canned soups aren't half bad.

If you're trying to save money though, make your own soup. It's the easiest thing in the world, and you can freeze it. But some inexpensive Glad brand plastic containers and freeze lunch sized portions. Then you know exactly what went into it.

I'm with #2. Anyone who brings up this much anxiety needs to be told why they are not invited. Mother or not. Don't feel guilt about this. It's pointless. If Mother won't get the help that she needs and she's driving wedges in the various couples in the family, why does anyone put up with this? Savage says all the time (mostly to gay folks)..."the only leverage you have over your parents is your presence in their lives." If their presence in your life is this poisonous, then don't let her be present in your life. Period. End of discussion. And tell her why.

Also, the Green Party isn't new. It's been around since 1986. That's hardly a new party.

If the Greens were serious they would have more than 100 elected officials (some of them in quite minor roles) in more than two states. By their own count, their success has been pretty thin on the ground. Savage is right. They don't play a very good electoral game. The most prominent of their elected officials is a Mayor in a town of 20,000 people in California.

When they have elected officials in 30 states and legislators in 5 or 10 of them, then they can call themselves a serious party. Until then, they're little more than a blip on the screen.

RUN THE FUCK AWAY! Manipulative people don't ever stop being manipulative if it works.

DUMP HER AND GET AWAY AS FAST AS POSSIBLE. Trust me on this one. My ex. Whoooo. Cray-cray manipulative. Breaking up with him was the best thing ever.

This whole thing sounds like a wife discovering that her long time husband is gay and has been cheating on her with men for years. Her use of the term "closet" made me think that.

Very few couples weather that shitstorm. I ache for this guy.

And #3, while I understand what you're saying, she has to speak in generalities having never met either of the people in question. You can't psychoanalyze someone you haven't seen in person.

The reunion show was AMAZING. We saw it in May. Kiki was in RARE form.

Hey original letter writer. You still CAN thank that priest. Call him up or send him a quick email and say "thank you for your homily on Sunday. It meant a lot to me."

Am I a terrible person for wanting to see Matt Baume in a burlesque outfit?

If you have to eat fast food, you could do worse than Steak and Shake. My family makes me eat there when I go visit them in central Illinois and the food is OK.

Is it the best burger I've ever had? No. Is it's decent food? Yeah. And the skinny fries are delicious. I love skinny fries.
