It's not very popular.

@ 72 - "What is it about trans people that would make them less likely to be attractive than any other person of the gender you generally date? "

One of my main criteria when choosing sexual partners (probably the most decisive one, actually), is that I find any type of body modification a turn-off. It's not some sort of a moral judgment about those who have tattoos or piercings or whatever (many of my friends do), it's just that "natural" is what turns me on.

So if something as trivial as a nose piercing (or even dyed hair) is enough for my dick to go limp, imagine how it feels about a total body makeover.

Once again, Raindrop proves that he has about as many brain cells as... a raindrop!

@ 13 - "It seems to me a pretty little thing to do, unless there's blowjob-related trauma in the gf's past. It's a one-time thing; can't she do it as a birthday present? "

My thoughts exactly. And now we know that there's no BJ trauma in her past. So if she can't even be bothered to give him birthday oral, I'd say the LW is settling for too little in order to settle down.

And even though I don't enjoy receiving oral that much, I think the therapist was right. She probably realized that the LW would never leave his GF because of all his issues, and offered him a pragmatic alternative.

@ - After just a couple of weeks, a responsible man would not have asked that question. He would have left, never to return.

AnneNJ @ 28 got it right. They're both trying to fix what went wrong earlier in their life by doing the exact same thing and expecting different results.

@ 31, 32, - I want to get an abortion right now just out of solidarity, to make amends for being gay.

@ 4 - Good analysis. What's really amazing is that after writing such a long, detailed letter, she didn't figure it out by herself.

As for your question: maybe Dan edited out the last 500 words in which this was all explained. At great length.

@ 17, 19 - Such t-shirts are available somewhere, I've seen them a couple of times. The thing is, my first thought was "he's a liar and he's trying to trick us." It might just backfire.

I've also seen people put fake flaccid-but-gigantic penises in their pants when they go out. Unfortunately, since real penises have a tendency not to stay put, onlookers soon notice that it's a fake.

I'd suggest looking for people who aren't so focused on size. They tend to be better lays, as they're more likely to give attention to your whole body, not just to your genitals.

But seriously, couldn't a Skype interview be arranged? I realize APAS said "in person", but the 9th grade is a perfect place and moment in life to learn that you can't always get what you want, but if you try sometimes, you get what you need. As someone once said.
Apr 14 Ricardo commented on Savage Love Letter of the Day: Four Pack.
To APAS: Additionally to what Dan said, which I thoroughly agree with, we also oftentimes feel the need to please the object of our lust's friends, as their opinion about us can kill our prospects. That's mostly when we're young, though (by that I mean under 35-40), but it would most definitely affect behaviour in your age group.
