Spoiled Rotten: Man of Steel.

I felt like the moment leading up to killing Zod and the release afterwards was very well done and it made the movie for me. I thought the catharsis was beatiful. I really, really enjoyed Man of Steel.
Henry Cavill, to me, emoted a story being told in those few seconds leading up to killing Zod. He didn't want to do it but he had no choice. He was fighting against everything about himself just to kill Zod because not to meant more people would die. And when it was over he mourned it, viscerally.
I defintely see your take but I like the complications of a Superman being forced to do something every fiber in his being is preventing him from doing.

Theater Schmeater Losing Its Basement Home After 21 Years.
@7
Do you have any idea what you're talking about? Here's a round-up of the theaters on Capitol Hill:
Balagan Theater
WET
Annex Theatre
Eclectic Theater
New City Theater
With the 12 Ave Arts Center opening Captiol Hill will also be getting:
New Century Theater
Theatre22
Here's hoping Theater Schmeater can find a place on Capitol Hill because that's where they've been for 20+ years and it's an area ripe with theater going audiences.

Never Heard of 'Em.
Like many of Radiohead's albums I think Kid A takes a few listens to in order to fully appreciate the album. There is always so many layers and so much going on that the first few times through is always a little disorienting. Kid A has been one of my favorite and most played albums since it came over over 10 years ago and I still find new things in the songs.

SL Letter of the Day: No Magic Beans.

I'm a huge football fan and I don't know anything about some magical "Hallelujah" Tim Tebow pass.
Dan is trying to say "Hail Mary". The context fits. A Hail Mary pass is a desperation heave into the end zone to try to win the game as the final seconds of the clock run out.

Attention Actors—Your License to Whine Has Been Revoked.

Well, the problem is that there is a very fine line where "actor" and "aspiring actor" is concerning how much money we make.
I can't support myself on just my acting gigs but I work fairly regularly. That doesn't make me an "aspiring actor"--I work professional jobs regularly--but if I didn't keep a day job I would have a pretty shitty lifestyle.
