@17- if the roles were reversed, the husband would be the bad guy for dumping her useless ass on the street. She's the one who jumped in fast and bought a fixer-upper. I cannot believe there weren't plenty of warning signs before the wedding that he was a loser, but wait- her love could make him whole. Gack!
I've spent a lifetime depressed and you don't treat your spouse the way her jerkwad husband's done her, and not expect to get your ass LEFT. Dan's advice was spot on, depressed or jerkwad- get out before she wastes another minute of her life.

@27- Trying to raise a mate's libido to your level is a fool's errand. Imagine yourself trying to want more of something you don't want in the first place.
Differing libidos are always lowered to the lower one's eventually. She's just lucky she's only got 10 years into this and no children.
I've got a 42yo brother who'd love to date NIB, but then she'd be the low-libido'd one, whining about incessant demands for sex.

If one must be circumcised, having it done as an infant is WAY superior than as an adult. Infant circ's are done with specialized cup-like instruments designed to cover infant-sized penile coronas and create a good distance of exposed internal skin before the scar is made. Adult circ's don't have such tools, and can result in adhesions so close to the corona edge that parts of it are covered with the scar. My husband wishes to hell he'd never had his adult circ done, due to this.
I'd be opting for a plastic surgeon to do mine, were I to need one as an adult.

What a mess! She thinks she can save him, and will be involved with him for several more years before she wakes up.
She probably comes from a family of alcoholics, grew up watching an enabler and this is all she knows and thinks she deserves. 'kind, sweet, gentle' my ass. It took me most of my young adulthood and many hours in Al-Anon before I saw the pattern in my relationships.
DTMFA and run for your life, dear. Your 30yo self will thank you for it.
