If you look at the price of Halliburton stock, it was trading at $5.03 in January of 2002, right after 9/11.

When you account for the split, Halliburton was trading at $104.32 in June of 2008, right before the end of the Dubya/Cheney regime.

Of course this has nothing to do with Cheney because the $18 million in shares he received from Halliburton were in a blind trust and he had no way of knowing he was going to make $373 million off of his war.

Combine that with five Vietnam deferments and Cheney is a true American patriot.

My popcorn bill is going to be ridiculous.
Jun 14 CPN commented on Texas Governor Rick Perry Calls for Legal Discrimination Against Atheists.
It's a bit weird to have my friends from Texas to call Dubya, 'the smart one' when referring to Rick Perry.

Generally I like to make popcorn when I listen to that moron.

This makes entirely too much sense and, therefore, MUST BE STOPPED!

Think of the security of the children! If this continues, the terrorists win!

Okay, I really have no point here other than to ponder who the hell could possibly be opposed to goats eating a hillside.
Jun 12 CPN commented on If Representative Peter King Is Going to Call for Arresting People Who Support Terrorism We Should Start by Arresting Representative Peter King.
I've found that the amount of TV time a Congressman or Senator does is inversely proportional to their integrity as a public servant.

Jay Leno got it right in The Playboy Interview,
"Politics is show business for ugly people."

#1 For the win!

My finest Stranger moment was buying Tim Keck drinks and getting him to reveal Mr. Steen's identity but, alas, I'm sworn to secrecy...
Jun 12 CPN commented on Representative Peter King Calls for Glenn Greenwald to Be Prosecuted.
I think the most dangerous thing a person can do is get between Peter King and a television camera.

Jay Leno said it right in The Playboy Interview,
"Politics is show business for ugly people."
