@16 Apparently I was also suffering a bad grammar day. I meant "within a novel", as in the author of the novel introduces the character within a novel using a reference to a celebrity. That is a bad practice. I dislike it in movies as well.

Discussions of the novel which include a comparison of characters to celebrities is different, and actually useful.

I was opposed to Walmart for a long time thanks to the way it would open up in rural areas, undercut existing stores, then raise prices after eliminating all the competition.

After a certain point, I gave up, feeling like it was a lost cause (and recognizing I had no where else to shop.)

Well, goodbye Walmart and hello Amazon! At least FedEX and the Post office pay a living wage.

You know, as a bi woman who's had a few threesomes, friends with benefits, one night stands and experimented with a variety of fetish play, I've discovered that "prude" is the favorite first insult of assholes when I don't want to have sex with them.

Amusingly, they tend to follow up "prude" with "whore" and "slut".

Unfortunately for them, I don't find even the loveliest of assholes attractive unless they are connected with a pleasant personality, and it sounds like TGP shares my standards.

I've always found the tendency of DSGs to make out a bit silly, but basically inoffensive.

So, as a bi women attracted to fems have I ever hit on one afterwards and been disappointed?

No, because a) they were drunk and b) they appeared fairly taken at that moment. If they were passing the kisses around, I may enjoy my turn but I didn't expect anything to come out of it.
