Apr 25 decidedlyodd commented on What Happens to Medical Pot Patients When Their Pot Clinic's Doctor Has His License Suspended?.
A "clinic" with a name like 4Evergreen issuing cards at Hempfest? And people wonder why medical marijuana is often seen as a joke.
Apr 16 decidedlyodd commented on Jinkx Monsoon Ekes Into the Top Three While Crazy-Jealous Men Dressed as Women Try to Throw Her Under the Bus!.
@8, @18 -- I watched it and Untucked on Logo's website the night it aired (Monday) at about 10:30pm PDT. Not sure if somebody messed up or if that's how early they're posting them now.
Mar 22 decidedlyodd commented on Let Jeremy Griffin Buy Back His Foreclosed House.
We've seen two Stranger staff members post the same story on the same day, but two months apart by Unpaid Intern (same one?) is a bit ridiculous.

These people are nothing more than mercenaries. They'll back whoever is paying their bills.

Before she takes on GMOs, maybe she should go after removing transfats from Girl Scout cookies first.

Would the nurse have reacted the same way if the guy had walked in reeking of booze?
Mar 11 decidedlyodd commented on Seattle Ranked 10th in Nation for Horrible Commute Times.
The most surprising thing about that graphic is that the region's shortest average commute is for those living in--drum roll please--downtown Bellevue and some adjacent zipcodes like Medina. Times there are actually even lower than in downtown Seattle or Capitol Hill. Seattle neighborhoods like Ballard and West Seattle perform even worse than proper suburbs like Kirkland and Redmond and about as bad as relatively far out places like Lynnwood and Woodinville.

In the words of Latrice Royale: 5 Gs--Good God, Get a Grip Girl.
Mar 6 decidedlyodd commented on EU Fines Microsoft $731 Million for Violating Prior Antitrust Agreement.
@3, @4 Ballmer's compensation is actually pretty low compared to most high flying CEOs. In 2012, his salary was $685K with a $620K bonus. Of course, he owns a ton of stock though.

Mar 5 decidedlyodd commented on Artist Refuses to Draw Superman Story by Hateful Homophobe Orson Scott Card.
@1, @23 It's about more than just his beliefs or some blog posts. He serves on the board of NOM (National Organization for Marriage), one of the worst organizations out there when it comes to pushing an anti-LGBT legislative agenda through a campaign of lies about and demonization of LGBT people. Serving as a leader of a multimillion dollar political lobbying organization comes with a certain level of accountability for one's views.
