The "tunnel project" is 70% done?! Except for that whole tunnel part I guess.
Nov 24 decidedlyodd commented on The Morning News: Chuck Hagel to Step Down as Secretary of Defense.
@1 It's really even worse than that because claiming God saved their son implies that all the other children killed in similar circumstances were somehow deserved to die.
Nov 18 decidedlyodd commented on The Morning News: Another Hate Crime on the Hill.
Where I work in *Bellevue* there's a uniformed cop (off-duty?) at the parking garage exit to block cars only when pedestrians cross the exit on the sidewalk and to wave cars coming out of the garage when the coast is clear. He never blocks traffic in the road to let cars out of the garage. Not sure why cops in Seattle shouldn't be doing the same.
Nov 17 decidedlyodd commented on We're Counting HUMP! Ballots.
@1 Could be worse. The person sitting two people down from me would not shut the fuck up during the entire show!

Sounds like the Darco Arcology in SimCity 2000.

And Deezul jeans is totally a different product than Diesel jeans. Time to find a new (better) name.
Oct 23 decidedlyodd commented on Michigan Bans Tesla Cars.
Supposedly the amount of maintenance that goes into an electric car is significantly less than one powered by an internal combustion engine. Tesla has claimed in the past that they don't want to use dealers because of the poor customer service experience but also because the maintenance situation gives dealers a disincentive to push electric cars since they make a lot of money off of service after a car is sold.
Oct 21 decidedlyodd commented on More Than 1,400 People Sign Petition Telling Local TV Stations Not to Release SPU Shooting Video.
@8, @12 The petition is not to the government to somehow block the release of the tape. That it's subject to public records requests is settled law. The petition is to the TV stations to revoke their requests. All they're doing is asking nicely.
Oct 16 decidedlyodd commented on For Better Metro Service Vote "YES" on Seattle Transportation Benefit District Prop 1.
You all know the Seattle Times is actually endorsing a "yes" vote this time around, right? Frankly, it makes me want to vote "no".
Oct 13 decidedlyodd commented on Seahawks Get Weird, Lose Football Game.
Only a few more losses until the fair weather fans go back to wherever they came from and Seattle can get back to normal.
