@30 that was my reaction too. Can you imagine the conversation? "Honey I want to open up the relationship because when you try to fulfill my every fantasy, your attempts are epic in their unsexiness."

Anyway the problem is clearly that he's having a midlife crisis moment where he's realized he's in his 50s and he's going to die someday. Dude, risking your relationship with your attractive and GGG wife is not going to fix that.

When I saw the title of this I Anon I hoped, for one brief shining moment, that it wouldn't be yet another unfunny, passive-aggressive complaining I Anon.

Ah, well. Maybe next week.

I enjoyed The New Normal, and I even liked Partners a lot. Sean Saves the World was horrible. I watched like 4 episodes and I couldn't stomach it. There was nothing entertaining or funny about that show and I'm glad it's gone.

Am I the only one who thought it seemed like the first couple does NOT have good communication?

I am a teacher, and in the past two years, I've gotten two students who were "homeschooled" in Kindergarten. Both children were vastly unprepared for first grade. The worse of the two cases was three years behind. In first grade.

So, my views of homeschooling are biased, but the problem is that we don't know how homeschooled kids do compared with their peers because there is no oversight. We only hear about the one homeschooled kid who wins a spelling bee, or the family of 20 homeschooled kids where none of them reads at a basic level of literacy and all of them have been subject to abusive religious brainwashing. So at the very minimum, we do need oversight in the form of homevisits and state testing. Although I suspect that in the vast majority of cases, homeschooling is a bad idea.

Isn't that a quote from 30 Rock? Jack and Avery had that on their Christmas cards.

I think the illustration is two angels in a car that has truck nuts.

I like these videos. John Corvino and I have a similar, deadpan sense of humor, I think, and I always find his arguments well-reasoned.

Even if baked goods taste like eggs (which they don't), eggs are delicious, and they take other flavors well. They aren't necessarily savory. Try some scrambled with sugar and cinnamon. Also: french toast, which DOES taste like eggs and is practically dessert.

I think the second LW isn't complaining about het, he's complaining about having to read about women. It's just a garden-variety misogynist.
