Christening My Baking Steel.
Ugh, a perfectly fine pizza discussion ruined by vegan arguments. We get it, okay? Now please stop.
As @14 said, you can get results very similar to a baking steel using a preheated cast iron skillet and broiler. Alternately, an advanced method for getting your oven wicked hot is to set it to "clean". (Only do this if your oven is already clean)

Will Money Tear the Avengers Apart?.
Ugh. People bickering over massive, massive amounts of money for what is really a month or two of work per movie. Would that the poor SFX artists and technicians have so much bargaining leverage.

Another Book About Romney's Failure.
@16 Yup there's plenty of scorn to go around, so I'm fine with continuing to direct my share at His Lord High Hairgel Sir Mittens Of Romney. Maybe it's different for people that aren't Massachusetts residents but the way he spent his last year in office basically abdicating his duties and letting Kerry Healey run the state while he ran around the country badmouthing the very state that had seen fit to elect him Governor, well, that'll sour you on a guy. Mitt can go suck an egg. Also what @20 said.

@10: No, thank you. No matter his current public profile, he was, is, and shall remain an entitled, sneering, craven, mendacious creep and I will continue to revel in any misfortune that comes to him. Ann, too. And "Tagg".
