Machiavelli was framed
9:50 PM yesterday Machiavelli was framed commented on Today in the Surveillance State: The "War on Reality".
Cascadian Bacon has good reason to be scared and frothing at the mouth on this issue. Given that our piggish friend has publicly declared himself as enemy combative of these United States, a member of separatist movement. It would make complete sense that the NSA would be sweeping his phone and computer activity records into the potential terrorist pile. Separatist movements frequently spark acts of terrorism even if they are as absurd as an independent Cascadia.

So yeah Cascadian Bacon you need to start encrypting all of your communications, from now on, including on here.
Jun 14 Machiavelli was framed commented on Jeb Bush: We Need Immigrants Because They're "More Fertile".
I get all this, it sounds very familiar in some respects.

Back when Jeb's kids were little and H.W. was President, Barbara Bush referred to them as the "little brown ones".

Yes the Bush family has been generally pro immigration. Certainly more so then the family's split decision on abortion, the women all for abortion, and the men against it.

The immigrants are fertile thing, that is just the patrician our family has lived in the rarefied world of the politically elite for 4+ generations, showing itself.
Jun 14 Machiavelli was framed commented on WSJ Asks: If I Could Require One Person to Read American Savage, Who Would It Be and Why?.
Santorum can read? I don't believe it. Far more believable that the Pope would have to read it too him. Santorum of course would just stick his fingers in he ears and chant "mustn't listen he is Catholic and Catholic's are evil Satan worshippers".
Jun 14 Machiavelli was framed commented on Texas Governor Rick Perry Calls for Legal Discrimination Against Atheists.
As a Christian I must point out, it is cannibalistic blood drinking cult. We ingest our lord and savior. We commune with each other and our God by eating our God's flesh and drinking his blood. Try and get it right next time Goldy.
Jun 13 Machiavelli was framed commented on State House and Senate Agree on Compromise Estate Tax Fix, but Senate Refuses to Put It to a Vote.
@3 how exactly would your solution solve the problem sited in Goldy's post?
Jun 10 Machiavelli was framed commented on If That Former Green Beret and Iraq War Vet Had Been Armed He Could Have Protected Himself From....
Oh now just leave my UnBalanced friend alone. He got hit in the head a lot with the butt of a gun and rifle as a kid. The sad result is he has a great deal of difficulty with logic and reason. Here I'll show you.

*whistles* here boy, come here boy.

Ok Unbalanced, you have explained, well not really even though I asked you to repeatedly, but nonetheless you linked repeatedly to a website that gave examples of the phrase "well regulated" applying solely to the mechanical function of objects. This you then insisted is the only interpretation possible for the phrase "well regulated" in the 2nd Amendment. i.e. that the object, the gun itself, be functioning properly and as intended. I'll accede to your definition.

Is a gun that fires when a 4 year old picks it up and handles it "well regulated"? Please answer in detail, regarding the proper functioning of guns and how to deal with those that aren't "well regulated".

Bet my Unbalanced friend doesn't respond.
Jun 10 Machiavelli was framed commented on Edward Snowden, the NSA Whistleblower, Is Hiding in Hong Kong.
Nice, this guy apparently has the right wing nut jobs at a bit of a loss as to how to respond.

He is taking a hard shot at the Obama administration which is good from their perspective.

Then again he is publicizing classified government security data, which is bad.

What is a good God fearing Republican to think? So confusing for them.
Jun 6 Machiavelli was framed commented on Why I Ride Fearfully Even With a Helmet.
@52 don't bug me about grammar when I'm drunk and ranting. Not to mention having visited a dear friend today who is paralysed from the lower chest down, can barely move his arms, nothing in his hands and wrists, dropped from 350lbs to 200lbs in 6 months, all because he was following the advise of idiot hipster bike commuters like Ansel the intern. (Cool name Ansel, my grandfather and brother are named Ansel).

As for bike helmet laws, I'm against them too. That just leads to police harassment but that is a different rant, like stop and frisk. I'll leave that for another day. Till then.

If your going to commute by bicycle.... WEAR A FUCKING HELMET AND PUT LIGHTS ON YOUR BIKE.
Jun 6 Machiavelli was framed commented on Guns Don't Kill People, Children Kill People.
@1 Thank God, gun abuse is rampant in this country, there should be laws against mistreating guns.
Jun 6 Machiavelli was framed commented on Joe Biden Makes Grieving Funny.
Biden would make a better president then anything the republicans have right now. Then again that is a low bar.
