This Is a Big Fucking Deal.
@9 I'd be surprised if the SCOTUS ruling on the Prop 8 case winds up as as a 6-3 to overturn. More likely a 4-5 to overturn the lower Appeals Court's ruling, with Roberts joining the other 4 D-Justices* to strike it down, thereby legitimizing Prop 8's hate as being Constitutional.
The other Marriage Equality case -- to repeal DOMA -- seems more likely to be a 5-4 decision, with perhaps even Roberts joining with Kennedy & the majority to make it 6-3.

Karl Rove vs. the Teabaggers: Who Will Win?.
So Rove is a total douche, and a near-fossil. But Democrats could sure use someone with Rove's focus and long-term commitment and sneakiness and cheerful go-for-the-political jugular attitude. There's a reason that the above poll's top response was "Democrats will lose, somehow. It's what we do!" -- because the Dippy Dems have got to stop being such a bunch of political pussies and start having fun with it!

The Romney Campaign Is Flailing.
Do any of the stories reveal if Romney received any earned income or employee benefits (like healthcare) from Bain during the time in dispute? I'm not talking cap gains or dividends or carried interest from the various partnerships, but a "base salary" from the parent/holding company? If he did, that would indicate a continued active, management role. (Yet another reason we should see his tax returns from that time.)
