Let the Tuesday Evening Jinkx Monsoon Fan Club Commence.
I can't believe Ru spared them both... Was so waiting for her to send Alyssa home. Girl is broken beyond repair. As for Jinkx, she was fabulous as always, all those other girls just be jealous.
I guess next week I can hope will be the last for that overbite mushed mouth hag..

Goldy: I Know You're a Man and Therefore Always Entitled to Be Right But on the Issue of Birth Control, You Are Wrong.
While I can see this as a victory for universal contraceptive coverage. This is still a separate but equal issue. We agreed that was and is unacceptable for race and marriage equality, this is no different. Religious organizations are still employers and need to follow other employment laws and regulations why are lady bits exempt from this? It's like when HRC dropped gender identity from ENDA in 2007. Liberals just dropped women's health like teh gays dropped trannies. It's fucked up and confirms my realization that as a Trans woman I'm eternally screwed..
Thanks again to liberal apologists for reminding us we aren't even close to equal not even among our "peers".

Capitalism Saves the Day: Peasant Farmers in the Third World Country Getting Rich.
Haters gotta hate Charles. The comments from yesterday's post were absolutely depressing. Fact: pasta or rice not as good for you as quinoa. The native people's in Peru are going to be worse off because "western" culture has taken an interest in one of their agricultural gems, ie. coffee.
Once again the west finds a way to subjugate an indigenous people for the latest fad and all you hear when someone raises alarm to this moral horror is "we'll I'm sure they have more money now." Right because farmers always get paid well for their crop.... Side note when I go to wayward cafe for some vegan brunch and look around I find it awfully pale...

Port Strikes Deal to Extend Lease at Terminal 46.
@6 there aren't just six figure crane jobs on the line, my company would lose stable jobs if Hanjin left. it's already skinny in Seattle for shipping traffic, tugs, fuel barges, environmental firms all employ a decent amount of people at a living wage with most being good union jobs. My company would have to downsize 10 people to make sure they don't spill bunker oil into our puget sound. I know it isn't a lot of employees but ask them, I'm sure they think their jobs matter.
That and I don't want to move to Tacoma!
There is a whole other job force on the water that shipping supports.
Way to be a narrow minded landlubber!
I take that back, it is kitsch if you want to get drugs or strippers.
