I'm glad some other people mentioned the commercials, They are the biggest reason I NEVER go to the movies anymore unless there's something in 3D I really needed to see (3 or 4 times a year). Paul Constant is right, Going to the movies used to be a social thing. I liked to show up early and sit and talk with who I came with, back then they played some music at a reasonable, level, showed slides advertising local businesses (show your ticket stub to recieve discount!), and they would have movie trivia! Remember that?

But now nothing pisses me off more than those commericals, they're so loud you are FORCED to pay attention to them, maybe if they turned the volume down, but know, they have to blast them at ear splitting level. Fuck You.

Yes, the concessions are ass-raping expensive, they always have been. And I've ALWAYS snuck in my own snacks. But sometimes you don't want a snack, and then you get there and you realize you're thirsty. There's something about $5.50 for a bottle of water that gives you contempt for an establishment.

Sadly you in WA probably don't have the convenience of a drive-in theater down the street from you. 7 bucks a ticket, kids are free, concessions are reasonably priced and more selection is offered PLUS you get a 2nd movie for free.

Fuck theaters, they are killing themselves.

I have a general disklike for seth MacFarlane and I hate Family guy. I am impressed by his voice(s), though. But I loved the boobs song. I was waiting for a much shorter "we saw your dick" version, though.

and that crack he made about people getting the flu I do not remember being directed at females specifically, but everyone. Margaret Lyons clearly has some un-related problems of her own to be angry about.

Articles like that are what contribute to the word "feminist" now being a meaningless slur intended to apply to women who hate men and assume men hate them right back.

There's absolutely zero chance that the reporter chose to report from bourbon street at what was probably like 4am. I'm on the reporters side. Drunk lady wandered into the conversation like a child, she's out of her depth. No sympathy for people doing stupid things while drunk, that's what getting drunk is all about.

I live in CA and have received glorious marijuana delivery for near 2 years. And while my direct calls to the dispensary are almost never answered, I am almost always promptly called back, and the delivery ALWAYS happens between 10 and 15 minuted BEFORE the ETA. It may just be good luck but I've never had a delivery person that was visibly stoned, and they've always been great.

As far as legality, could paypal or bitcoin be utilized as a go-around? I know delivery is more common in CA than the retail outlets simply because the legality is fuzzy and the retail outlets can be raided. But for a period of 4 months I was legitimately bed-ridden and having delivery available was a godsend, and something that should be considered in WA. (I miss WA often)

I'm proud of you guys, what with the pot and the gay marriage and all. Maybe I'll move back one day, but I have a thing for sunshine.
