I support this Anonymous dude. Cheat on your spouse and a little jizz on your personal effects is the least you deserve.

The score is light and airy, kind of understated. I was expecting a little more, I felt like his Social Network score elevated the movie 2-3 entire points out of 10. Gone Girl's score is pretty perfect, if just a little too quiet. I'm listening to it while I read the book. I'm enjoying it very much. It's streaming free on NPR.com.

@48
those precautions are useless if it's the cloud itself that gets hacked and not these people's personal accounts. The sheer volume of photos these people claim to have is evidence of a monumental breach in security on the other end.
And @40
Comparing taking compromising photos of yourself and sending them to an ambiguous server you know absolutely nothing about is not at all similar to taking a dump in the privacy of your own home. And NSA can probably see you doing that too.
Sep 3 Stabs commented on Those Leaked Celebrity Nudes: Have You Looked?.
I looked, my husband looked I don't feel bad and he said "It's a great day for America!". The people whose photos got leaked don't feel any better or worse about it give or take a few million people seeing them.

I DO feel sympathy for them the same way I'd feel sympathy for someone whose iPhone got stolen after they'd left it on the passenger seat of their unlocked car on a shady street corner. It sucks, but I really don't understand how people put so much trust in "The Cloud". Even if it weren't for the fact that millions of people trust this ambiguous cloud they know literally nothing about to store all the important info in their lives, the NSA is still a thing. Nothing digital stays private. NOTHING. I don't even know a whole lot about about computers or any of that, but I do know that every guy you hire to fix your computer is looking for images to steal, and Obama has seen your nudes already.

The people at the apple store looked at me like I was stupid when I told them I didn't trust The Cloud, who's stupid now? It's like instead of a safety deposit box in a bank you just give your shit to some guy in a really nice van and don't even ask him where he's taking it.

Also, to hell with all the feminist bullshit about "psychic rape" and someone trying to destroy or debase these women. People like titties, that is the beginning and the end of it.

Glad he brought up all the military equipment. How long after a crowd started gathering in Ferguson do you think someone said "Hey! Let's try out that new MRAP and the tear gas! I haven't seen what the gas masks look like on me yet! Give a bunch of boys a bunch of toys and they will want to play with them. And the point about the cops aiming the guns when soldiers would NEVER do that was also a very important one.

This is pretty creepy. I mean I LOVE my "murder shows" as my husband calls them, but I don't watch murder porn. I've never thought about killing my husband (which, let's be honest, can't be all THAT uncommon). so for me the "murder shows" are just fascinating because I can't comprehend how people can do that sort of thing. This guy sounds like he's studying.

Your serial killer scenario is the first thing I thought of when I heard about these camp outs, but it still gave me a shiver to see someone had written it down.

I think this is a whole lot more tasteful than releasing a dead man's private journals while actively fighting the release of a box set of his music which he made for people to listen to. Fuck Courtney.
Apr 23 Stabs commented on It's Been A Couple of Days—How Are You Feeling About That Game of Thrones Rape Scene?.
@47 The scene in the book served a different purpose than the scene in the show. In the book Cercei is screwing Jaime to basically convince him to kill Tyrion. In the show this scene is clearly meant to show Jaime becoming fed up with Cercei's awful bullshit. He's done with the bitch now.
As for Drogo and Dany's scene, I think they made it more brutal in the show to maintain the audience's sense of horror and unsureness of Dany's fate. But that's just a guess.
Apr 22 Stabs commented on It's Been A Couple of Days—How Are You Feeling About That Game of Thrones Rape Scene?.
Just because rape is a "plot devise" doesn't mean it's not a fairly common thing that happens in any society and as such has a place in many stories. The fact that anyone cares to boo-boo over it after a pregnant woman was shanked repeatedly in the belly last season is kind of hilarious. The real world is just as horrifying a place as any fictional world.

"you can be queen, but only after you are sold like cattle and completely demoralized"
That's a bullshit thing to say. Brienne is a strong, moral, kind and independent character from the beginning. Catelyn Stark was a good person before all her misfortune to (issues with Jon aside). Sansa and Arya are two sides to the same coin. A good obedient girl who does as she was told and was brought up to do, and a strong willed spitfire who defies all convention and attempts to control her.

Also Cercei deserved it. Yeah, I said it.
