We are looking for an energetic, hardworking, detail-oriented self-starter to help maintain and grow The Stranger’s comprehensive events calendar, Stranger Things To Do. Seattle is a vibrant city with hundreds of events happening on a weekly basis, and our team strives to list all of them, which is no small task. If you have a deep love for and knowledge of Seattle’s arts and entertainment scene—everything from music to theater to food festivals—and have a desire to motivate our readers to get out and experience it, this might be the position for you.
We’re looking for a perfectionist who will scour the internet to find every last pop-up art gallery and cat party, a hard worker who is comfortable working behind the scenes and will rise to any challenge, a strong writer who will produce enjoyable and informative calendar listings, and a detail-oriented person who loves the nitty-gritty and will work to ensure the accuracy of all calendar listings.
This is a permanent, full-time, on-site position. The Stranger offers a competitive salary, a great work environment, and excellent benefits. Please email cover letter, resume, and desired salary range to: associatecalendareditor@thestranger.com. No phone calls or drop-ins please.
