How do you all feel about Dirty Projectors (born in Connecticut, attended Yale, plays like Ali Farka Touré)? I'm guessing you must hate him just on principle, even if you haven't heard his music, right?

I've only heard the album where they "cover" Black Flag. Wasn't into it. Seems like they just recorded an entire album of Wo-Pop and slapped some Black Flag lyrics on it as an afterthought.

Your hostility is really really weirdly placed. Are you mad that people are calling you rich? Do you think Vampire Weekend need to be defended? They are quite successful in their own right, so this really only seems like a pissing contest. But with whom? You versus...?
I assume you are an intern, from your immaturity, but soon you will understand that a large city weekly paper needs a music section that seems less "high school". I apologize if you are in fact still in high school. Although that would definitely explain your demeanor.

The two groups are part of the same collective with similar members in the past. You basically just posted on Vampire Weekend again.
