Frances Cobain administers an authoritative smackdown on Courtney Love and refutes her claim that she is dating Nirvana's former drummer.

While I'm generally silent on the affairs of my biological mother, her recent tirade has taken a gross turn. I have never been approached by Dave Grohl in more than a platonic way. I'm in a monogamous relationship and very happy.

Twitter should ban my mother.

Considering her upbringing it's a marvel that she seems to have turned out as sane and not fucked up as she is. Good for her.

@1 Actually, she was taken from her mother quite early & lived w/ Kurt's mom. She lived in a nice semi-rural house just outside of Olympia, went to really cool alternative schools where all the other moms were discreet liberal types, and was generally surrounded by folks who had a lot of respect for her father and would do whatever was required for her to be the best person possible: especially by leaving her the fuck alone and dealing w/ her on her own terms.

@7: given the complete and total shitshow she was born into, and the shocking amount of money out there with her name on it, that's actually pretty goddamn heartwarming. Here's hoping things continue along this path.
