Geez, people sure do love to talk about the weather! It's too hot! It's too cold! Too much rain! Not enough rain! Golf ball sized hail! The radio station I'm listening to has been playing heat-themed song snippets in between news and talking. They played "Hot in Herre" by Nelly. Then they played the abomination "Hot Hot Hot" by Buster Poindexter.

How did this happen?

I'm still confused how a person could go from the New York Dolls to Buster Poindexter. I also remember him playing a taxi driver in a movie, but I don't remember which. But the point I'm trying to make, what hot tracks get you through a hot day?

Mine for sure: "Too Hot" by the Specials, "Hot Fun in the Summertime" by Sly & the Family Stone, "Drop The A-Bomb On Me!" by Zero Defects. Oh, and "Warm It Up" by Kris Kross.
