The Triple Door Theater and Musicquarium Lounge

The Triple Door is the swankiest sit-down live music venue in Seattle—lush darkness and twinkling lights, an antique gold-framed stage with plush red curtains, and great semi-circular booths. Upstairs, there's the Musicquarium Lounge, a soothing grotto of a room with a giant fish tank, a great happy hour, and free live music or DJs nightly.

Poor Customer Service

i like that place for its great venues as well as the musicaquarium. however i have to say that the customer service sucks. every time i go and want to order a drink, the bartender seems to not really care. no matter how busy they are , they will make you feel like you are not a customer. Therefore they will serve you as they please. taking their darn time. and this is not an isolated situation. several people have complained about the servise. Long gone are the days when customer service was considered as an important element success for this type of industry (and i am not high maintenance believe me) i am just asking for the minimum....Anyway, my rule is No Service, No tip.

Overpriced Food, But Great Music

Me and my friends were at the Nearly Dan concert (Sun., July 6th), which rocked the house. The food? Eh, it was okay, a little on the expensive side, not enough portions, and not nearly as tasty and high-class for the money as Jazz Alley (their hummus is to die for).

Triple Threat Trivia is a blast!

A hidden gem in downtown Seattle, The Triple Door's trivia night on Mondays is always great times and a great deal on top of that! It starts at 10:30PM, winners get money off their tabs (no buy in either!) and its industry night, 33% off. The always entertaining Paul Jensen of the Dudley Manlove Quartet is one of the hosts.

A great venue

While it was expensive it is a great palce ot see a show. I went for SIFF this year and had a blast. The staff was very accomadating and polite. The drinks were great too.

Hitting All the Right Notes

After many a magical evening spent at this venue, I profess my undying love. The Triple Door, pairs terrific musical talent with fine dining and manages to pull off both, beautifully. It’s hard not to be seduced by the venue itself, which is pretty incredible. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Go For The Show Not the Food

This is the best meal you can get in your seat in a live music venue in Seattle, because it's the only one. Like the Wild Ginger, it has all the trappings of a great restaurant, except the food, which is just OK, nothing to write home about. It LOOKS good, but the flavor is lacking. However, if you're there for a good show, you won't care. It's a GREAT venue. Grant McLennan R.I.P.
