William Belickis's Mistral in Belltown was one of very few Seattle restaurants offering an unapologetically formal haute cuisine experience. Born at the beginning of 2010, Mistral Kitchen is a mammoth, starkly contemporary space on Westlake with multiple kitchens, dining options from a la carte crudos to eight-course set menus, and a bar serving craft cocktails. The financially challenged can get a look/taste/sip at happy hour.
