B’s Po Boy is an Alki newcomer that "strives to give you the best and most authentic culinary experience outside of New Orleans." As its name implies, the restaurant offers an array of traditional sandwiches and also dishes like gumbo, red beans and rice, beignets and muffaletta. The menu stays true to the classics but also offers more hard-to-find items like alligator and fried green tomatoes. Plus: the sandwich bread is straight out of Louisiana from Leidenheimer's Bakery; apparently the preferred bakery in all the state.
