Delish!

I love Jones. They have a good selection, nice portions and great sides. Being from Kansas City where there is a bbq place on each corner, it is nice to have a port in the storm in Seattle.

I can't say how good their food is. I ordered 9 lbs of brisket for a party. Jones had an employee call the day of the party to say they didn't have my order. How do you do that and stay in biz, I don't know. I went to Whole foods and they had good brisket for my party. Doesn't matter how good the food is if they don't deliver!

Simply the best.

Man, I've tried so many BBQ places in this town, and was so happy when I finally found Jones. The world's nicest folks fixin up the world's most delicious BBQ. Perfect meats, perfect sauce, all the sides, homemade desserts, what more can you ask for? Go there, order up one of everything, and leave a nice tip. You won't be sorry!

Dem' Bones

I had the famous Jone's ribs (Rib-a-licious), My other half had the brisket sandwich, which was overflowing with BBQ goodness. Service was great, the portions were large, prices were perfect, and i definately will go back there. , I think i found myself a new favorite BBQ restaurant. I would highly recomend checking this place out!!

disappointed...

Being from the southern US (from a town that claims to be the barbeque capital of the world!) I was craving tender b-b-q beef brisket, but unlike other reviewers, I found the brisket at Jones to be very tough and chewy, drowned in an overly sweet sauce. We won't be going back.

Jones BBQ!!!!! (drool like homer simpson)

seriously. i am drooling right now. i moved to Tacoma and i am so sad now. jones is the best. i have had BBQ in small towns in Virginia full of drawling rednecks and this beats that backyard-grilled junk hands down. They use wood and make their own sauce (which you can also buy in bottles), and I always get the spicy, usually a whole chicken and split with a friend. And don't forget the homemade pie! Y'all come on down and don't even look at the others.

"The way BBQ is suppose to be"

That's what it says on their menu, t-shirts, etc., and I'm convinced. I cannot claim any kind of expertise on authentic southern BBQ, but Jones certainly seems to attract a lot of people who know the real deal. I don't get it very often now, but years ago I worked in South Seattle and made it there regularly. Just thinking about the brisket (melt in mouth tender) with half mild/half spicy sauce, potato salad (lots of mustard) and greens (lots of bacon) still gives me cravings, years later.
