OMG Cub! I love Cub. Saw 'em a bunch of times, have all their records, got the candy. I loved Robyn's tiny, tiny guitar amp, the way they all should be. And you know that country-fried chanteuse Neko Case on drums, yeah? And yes, the mix tape strategy works; Mrs. Fnarf put "New York City" (from their second LP "Come Out Come Out" on a mix tape and sent it to me in that city, where I was living at the time, and we have lived happily ever after (but not in New York, for reasons that would be instantly apparent to anyone who saw my apartment there). It's still Our Song. I think; I'll have to ask.

Cub, hell yes. Best thing that ever came out of Vancouver.
