for the record, i solicit previews for a variety of shows every week, but there is only so much space allotted to the music section and the paper has to strike a balance between covering cool underground stuff that people SHOULD go see (Jucifer), and reporting on the more obvious bigger name acts that people, sadly, often WANT to see (Nickelback). hopefully the Saturday previews for shows at The Greenhouse, Sunset, Crocodile, Neumos, Funhouse, and Tractor offset my rant about crappy radio rock.
