First of all, "mara salvatrucha" means "Salvadoran army ant gang" not "Forever Salvador." Second, it's not an offshoot of a Los Angeles gang, MS 13 IS a Los Angeles gang. They just expanded to other parts of the world. Fail, Stranger...
