"Zamboni" John Scanell was a city employee who worked at the Seattle Center driving the "Zammboni" or the ice resurfacing machine. He did this at the Arena and the Coliseum when the Seattle Thunderbirds played. He was fired for "high fiving" fans as he drove around the edge of the ice rink, he then became a "Lincoln statute" lawyer and sued the city protesting his discharge. All of this occurred in the early 90's. He remains an hockey fan, and last I heard he lives in Bremerton.

I remember receiving only one piece of campaign material from incumbent judge Keith M. Callow.

It arrived one day after the election.

Thanks for the reminder Eli. I suspect these things aren't on their campaign materials. As always, you remind us to use our brains.
