they just reversed course due to outrage!

UPDATE: 11:00 a.m. ― On Tuesday morning, the church tweeted that they had started “receiving people who need shelter.”

Lakewood is receiving people who need shelter. We are also coordinating with the city as a collection site for distribution.

Why is it dated Aug 16th? Is this satire?
11
Indeed it is satire, rather sophomoric, but 100% total satire - or fake news, take your pick.

More like fake news: Washington Post

I love it how the Stranger would rather talk about this than the ISIS supporting, Sharia law-sympathizing scam artist Linda Sarsour taking advantage of hurricane Harvey disaster victims and scamming them and the donors to her "relief effort" by funneling money to support her PAC.

Quite showing of the publication and their agenda. But of course, it is okay when your side does it, right? If conservatives did it, The Stranger would have been covering that every single day along with a sense if fake outrage. But when it is their leftist buddies committing criminal acts, then that is just fine and dandy. Lol.
