PM Dawn is the reason why I kept my BMG Music membership for so long. On the other hand, "Nevermind" is the first album that made me feel like a grown-up. So there's that.
How ironic...but seriously, when are you going to start covering the local scene for real? Are you content to forever live in the past or what? It is 2011 already..People are tired of this retro garbage and want to hear original music made by musicians who can actually play their instruments. No, we aren't talking about shitty, unoriginal cover bands either. And yes, a tribute band is a shitty cover band. And no, we don't want to hear any more watered down acoustic bullshit that sounds like whining, balls haven't even dropped bands. Grow some already..
@10:
You don't want to dwell on "retro garbage", yet you want to read about people who "play their instruments". Playing instruments is so 20 years ago - it's like who gives a shit? If someone can tell me why I should care, etch the answer to a wax cylinder and send it to me by horseback courier.
@13 - What a blast from the past. Why is the music on the radio, by and large, still so un-listenable? Although, that Madonna video remains pretty steamy.
@10 local bands actually get a fair amount of coverage. What exactly do you want to see? coverage of every single bullshit band in Seattle? I guess I could do without that.
MMmmmm! 1991!
