Good to know I'm not the only person who enjoyed cat food as a child. I would crawl under my grandmother's awesomely ugly green and brown couch and eat whatever the cat hadn't gotten to, quietly crunching away while grandma smoked a pack of cigarettes on the porch. But that didn't stop be from loving sweets, too. Hmmm maybe cat food as a sundae topping?

Totally agreed on the awesomeness of the Dick's sundae. Once on a whim, I asked the cashier if I could get extra hot fudge. He stopped in his tracks for a minute (which is very rare for a kinetic fast-food worker) and uttered one excited word: "YES!" He looked like I'd asked if he wanted a quick hand-job behind the counter, he was so excited to dish out that extra fudge.

Gonna stop now, this comment is getting weird.

@2

I'm going to do that now because of your story.

I'm also of the 'salt tooth' persuasion. Sweets usually leave me unsatisfied.
Cheesecake is one of my favorite deserts because of the sour flavor.

If you do give Molly Moons another go, you should check out the Salted Caramel. Many of my sweet tooth inclined friends give me a look when I tell them this is my favorite because it can be just like licking a salt block. Which I sometimes enjoy.

You know what I hate about this week's stories? No reviews on alcoholic ice cream or milkshakes. They're fucking FANTASTIC! We've already had a dumb assed cupcake fad, its time for the alcoholic desert fad, god damnit! Have you ever had Elysian Stout ice cream from Blue Bird? ITS AMAZING! Have you had a chocolate milkshake mixed with rye and a chocolate liquor? I jizzed my pants after having that! Get it together, Stranger staff!

You're not the only one who's had that reaction to Molly Moon's ice cream. Actually, I find almost all boutique ice creams way too heavy. Original Breyer's vanilla: the only way to go.

What, no bacon sprinkles?

Please wait...
