John Boehner cries easier than a North Korean.

I was sure the answer was going to be "jacking off." In fact I'm still pretty sure that's the answer.

I see Boehner is aiming for a 1 percent approval rate.

Wowsers. Lock and load, boys!

The republican leadership is way out of touch.

Dapper Dans like Boehner and McConnell needs to leave.

A tax cut is a tax cut...you don't add requirements to it!

I had the same argument with Reichert for the vote on extending Bush tax cuts.

We are republicans. We cut taxes. Thats all we should do...not harass gay people or hold pray meetings.

Fuck you, GOP. This will bite you in the end. I'm looking forward to toasting the death of your party.

Republicans are saying that tax cuts have to be paid for. That's going to be an interesting line for them to toe when the Bush tax cuts expire.

Well, I guess I'll be spending even less money next year. Good one, Republicans.

This is very real to me. I'm getting a 4% raise in January, and my expectation is that between payroll tax and changes to my health insurance, my monthly paycheck will be smaller. I'm sure lots of people still dealing with wage freezes, furloughs, etc... will see worse.

Anyone who politically opposes the GOP needs to start talking about this right now. When the first paycheck of the new year arrives, everyone must know why it's smaller than the one before it.

@10, my health insurance bite is bigger than my COLA raise every single year. This is why our economy is in the shitter. The Republicans cry and cry about taxes but when it's a tax that actually affects ordinary people they fall oddly silent.

Republican tax hike.

I am looking forward to the tax hike. Until most Americans are punished for the insane ramblings of a few tea party members, nothing in America will change. The "leaders" of the GOP will rue the day that the best they could come up with is Rep Joe Walsh in IlL.

Just as a point of order: It's intellectually dishonest to refer to "letting the Bush-era tax rates on high earners expire" and then refer to this as a "tax hike." It's one way or the other; If letting a tax break expire is a tax hike, then letting the Bush tax cuts "sunset" is also a tax hike.

In response to the "I wonder what John Boehner is doing now" link and the comments...

I am fucking sick and tired of the John Boehner crying comments. You are perpetuating stereotypes of males as stoic and unemotional. People cry. It shows that people give a fuck about what they are talking about. But with the jokes and drawing unneeded attention to it, you are promoting gender stereotypes and telling boys and men, "you shouldn't cry; it is unmanly. If you do, we will make fun of you and if we are in middle school or high school probably beat you up." Transcend that.

Boehner is wondering what kind of job he can get once he's voted out of Congress.

@15, Boehner will earn hundreds of millions of dollars by golfing and dining out after he leaves Congress, just like Newt and all the others. That's what K Street is for.

@14,

John Boehner cries at the drop of a hat in a transparently disingenuous ploy to make people think he isn't an animatronic tangelo. He deserves to be mocked for that.
