Holy shit - I would go, but the last time I enjoyed seeing a movie with an audience of kids was 1979.

never met a child who could stand reading subtitles. the art looks beautiful, bet its awesome in 3D.

@2 well what you need to do right is to go outside of the US and the english speaking world and suddenly theres allot of kids thats used to reading subtitles.
Hell movies with subtitles was one of the ways I learned english as a kid and I think allot of parents underestimate their kids abilities to cope with new situations. Try getting a good kids movie in another language (French for example) and watch it with your kids before going to this.
Try to give off an air of "this is pretty damn normal" (because they might pick up on your discomfort) and get ready to answer allot of questions about french.
So when you do go to this they will be ready for it and used to both reading, listening and watching at the same time.
