The "New Black Panther Party" seems like a construct of the right wing to act as a foil and justify it's own outrageous behavior. Outside of this or that thing in 2008 nobody has ever even heard of them.
Well, to the extent the President's highlighting of the case has made it a political feast you're going to get gadflies like this circling around looking to get a nibble of controversy. "New Black Panthers", the Phelps picketers, Occupy campers...I'm sure they're all looking for a bite here. What a gruesome metaphor, sorry.
It's important not to pay them too much mind. The right will want to say our concern over Treyvon's murder is mere partisanship - let's not give them anything to go on.

Agree it's a bad idea, but isn't anyone who'd let the stupid Black Panther pronouncement influence their opinion of Obama already irreparably biased/racist/etc?
I'm not saying there aren't some stupid people out there, but I'll go with the simplest explanation: that group has got to be bankrolled by Bill O or his cohorts.

The New Black Panther Party, aka, two crazy black dudes from Philadelphia. But hey, there goes the case, cause any crazy person can say stupid, outlandish things we can all ignore. But when they are crazy and black? Then it's legit.
Now, I'm not encouraging violence, I'm just thinking this through.
So, Zimmerman was able to go a free man, because he felt that Martin was a harm to him and the community...right? And under Florida law he can kill such a person.
Well...how should Martin's father and every other person in that community feel about having a stalking serial killer (dubbed the SS Killer, for Stalk-Shoot).
Under that same law, isn't there also justification?
I don't understand why this community has no faith in our justice system. It's not like African-Americans have been unfairly targeted by the law or anything. It's not like an innocent African-American was gunned down and the murderer is free and clear... Oh, wait... Oh.
First, there is no rule of law in Amerika, and hasn't been for quite some time.
Secondly, this can be called all about race, but it also transcends race.
I agree perfectly with their sentiment, and Zimmerman should have been arrested by the criminally-misbehaving police there (and that moron chief who claimed to be a former homicide investigator, he couldn't even find his very own vagina!!!).
Some months back, when another young Black-American teenager (and straight "A" student) was murdered in Chicago by Black-American thugs, the same thing should have been done.
This is about predators, some White, Black, Hispanic or Other, preying upon the ethically and mentally superiors in society, and with all the lawlessness today, and the elite criminality practised routinely by Wall Streeters, their political lackeys (when Obama stands before the nation, again and again, and dares falsley proclaim that the banksters broke no laws, when any average person realizes by this time they committed millions of felonies, conspired to violate the UCC on a colossal level (moving from the commercial law into criminal violation) and are in violation of the tax laws --- in a major manner --- accordingly), the tone is set for a national of utter and willful lawlessness.
Whether it's Zimmerman murdering an innocent Black youth, or the Obama administration firing so many Blacks, women and Asian-Americans (Van Jones, Shirley Sherrod, etc.), the only justice will come from DIY justice today.
A group of people few have any control over and none support "helps the right". Similar smaller groups of people that they have fewer control over and even less support and we consider them to "help the left". If everyone is constantly thinking about the extremes we will never live free lives.
