You mean we can't have our cake AND eat it too?

I love how the republicans yammer on about "personal responsibility" and then behave in a completely irresponsible manner.

And by "love" I mean "despise."

well, fuck it then, let's just go back to sending the poor to emergency rooms and keeping the expenses ridiculously high. "Free market," you win again.

Frankly, I'm surprised Jim Demint or someone of his ilk hasn't suggested ordering hospitals to reject the uninsured and letting them die in the foyer.

McKenna had a mandate once but it left him feeling dirty.

"If the mandate is struck down, it's not going to result in the whole law being struck down."

Well, McKenna may be techincally correct in his choice of words. The whole law won't be struck down, but it will be rendered inoperative, so result is the same

As an out-of-stater, I gotta ask: why is this man your AG? Why is he still your AG? Where is the recall/impeachment effort?

"The attorney for the states bringing suit, Paul Clement, argued that the entire law would have to be struck." (via DailyKos)

So much for McKenna saying that wasn't what they wanted.

@6 By Washington standards, he's a dynamic leader.
By real standards, he's an empty suit and a shitty lawyer, which moves him to the head of the line here.

Please remember, we've had 16 years of a cardboard cutout acting as Governor, with only a slight variation for race/gender. Why not add a FTM dork to the list?
