"Washington State senator Jeanne Kohl-Welles" is helluva confusing grammar when you are talking about an out of state protest. Washington state's Senators are Patty Murray and Maria Cantwell. Washington's state Senate includes Jeanne Kohl-Welles. An out of state reader (or politically illiterate native) is going to presume the former, not the latter, meaning of the construction in this post.

most "legit" medical suppliers i know of sell a pound or three out the back door at least once a week, and honestly i don't have much sympathy when i read about them getting raided.

Obama was for single-payer, then he banished all discussion of it; he was against the Bush tax cuts for the super-rich, then he extended them; he was against the War on Pot, then he started raiding medical marijuana dispensaries. When Obama dares us to "make him" do things he claims to be in favor of -- deep down inside, apparently, in his campaign persona's heart -- exactly how far does he want us to go in "making him"? Letters, petitions, and demonstrations don't seem to have had much effect.

Hell, they couldn't even get enough votes for a public option. Not even for an OPTION to allow anyone to go with a federal plan instead of private insurance!
