I do not understand what the issue is. I breast-fed both my children - publicly - and never once did anyone say more than, "Good for you!" What is these ladies' problem? Don't whip your boob out. Simply get those nursing bras and shirts. Yes, it is that easy, and what's your problem that I can do it but you can't?

I'm super-liberal so don't even try to paint me red.

Is it ok to just ban all infants beforehand?

As once being a teenage american male? well once when I was about 30 something down by Juaez Mexico there was this Godess who was just drop dead gorgeous who would drag her five kids from Mexico to El Paso to look for work and or beg for money? she was a 11 on the 1 to 10 and then one day her little baby would not stop crying and then boom she went off the side of the road and flopped a big titty out with a big nipple and that little baby started feeding like like like? crazy.

I was ashamed at myself as what she had made me wonder what the hell was this women doing what she was doing (being so poor and so beautiful) and wonder what that titty tasted like?

so with the Young American Male in consideration I really don't want to see anything hungrily sucking on a gorgeous woman's gorgeous tit's

Oh yea its natural! and are the erections that will follow.

Men are not hard to understand

I know! It's supposed to be legal to breastfeed in public, but I was arrested just last week for doing so myself!

@10 you CAN go topless at hempfest and elsewhere. Hell you could walk naked in Seattle, and it isnt against the law, unless you are trying to shock or surprise someone, and get into their space to cause a problem.. simple nudity walking around minding your own business, especially at festivals is completely legal in Seattle. Please make note of it.

Nursing mothers should be able to breastfeed without fear of harassment whenever and wherever their child is hungry. Parenting young children has many inherent inconveniences to it; why make it even harder?

Actually, I'm in favour of women being permitted to go topless anywhere men can. Last summer at Hemp Fest, I just about got heat stroke, and there were guys all over the place walking around shirtless. They looked so much more comfortable than I felt. Totally unfair.

Not really.

Forty-five states, the District of Columbia and the Virgin Islands have laws that specifically allow women to breastfeed in any public or private location. (Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Washington, Wisconsin and Wyoming.)

Twenty-eight states, the District of Columbia and the Virgin Islands exempt breastfeeding from public indecency laws. (Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah, Virginia, Washington, Wisconsin and Wyoming.)

Twenty-four states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico have laws related to breastfeeding in the workplace. (Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Georgia, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, Maine, Minnesota, Mississippi, Montana, New Mexico, New York, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Vermont, Virginia, Washington and Wyoming.)

Twelve states and Puerto Rico exempt breastfeeding mothers from jury duty. (California, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Mississippi, Montana, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Oregon and Virginia.)

Five states and Puerto Rico have implemented or encouraged the development of a breastfeeding awareness education campaign. (California, Illinois, Minnesota, Missouri and Vermont.)

The worst laggards, Idaho and South Dakota, are red states, but that hardly explains Utah and Mississippi and Georgia and so on and so on.

The only people who get worked up about nursing mothers are Republicans, and that's because they all have sex problems.

I don't think nursing mothers really want to be in the public sphere. They just don't want to have to go to a private place. For some reason, nursing mothers seem to get *very* offended when you look at them as you would anyone else in public. You can't have it both ways.

Can they at least outlaw fat, ugly, unshaven liberal womyn from whipping them out? I mean seriously, that will ruin many folks' appetites.

Swimming pools?

You mean, by the side of the swimming pool right? Because I wouldn't approve of anyone actually eating in the pool.

Executed?

Sounds ok by me.

Isn't finger wagging harmful to your psychic well being and likely to cause your mental health service animal to get really confused, requiring you to realign your shakras?
