Maybe if they uncover Romney's 3 other wives.

Otherwise. No.

Paul, buddy, if you just want to call it for Romney and retire from following the tiresome Republican nomination process, I don't think anybody here is going to blame you.

I still think that the multi-married, fiscally irresponsible, uncompromisingly bigoted and seriously delusional Gingrich is the truest representative of the contemporary Republican party. If there was anything like justice in this process, he would have the nomination sewn up.

What perfect product placement for Newtie -- between Jazzercize and Bingo. Senior Center FTW!

Actually, @5, I think the entire field has been remarkably representative of the fragmented and dysfunctional GOP. Santorum represents the racist, sexist, homophobic core; Romney the terminally-boring millionaires who want to line their own pockets and could honestly give two shits about the social issues, but are driven hard right by the necessity of co-opting the loons; and Ron Paul the conspiracy theorists and out-and-out lunatics. Gingrich is the image of the party rank and file, though, and that's exactly why he's doomed--no one likes looking in the mirror. But contrariwise, that's exactly why he can't throw in the towel. GOP dogma requires that when you are losing, you double-down, not retreat.

Cato the Younger Younger 8
Didn't Newt become speaker because of those evil Democrats bouncing checks back in the early 90's? The irony is so rich you can cut it with a knife

Republicans dont factor Drain Bamage. they will put a Eye ball attached to a foot in a political slot if it serves their needs.

But newt is a classic B grade horror movie and if you put him in clown makeup and give him a chain saw? that wiggly chin and belly and butt could be a cult classic.

Ring a ding ding ring ding ring (the chain saw screams)
