Wait this is ironic because those girls are 3's at best.

This kinda reminds me of that Olsen Twin's song "I am the cute one"

Ok, this is terrible, but it looks like it might actually be tongue in cheek; it's hard to tell.

But seriously, 3's? Those girls are actually pretty hot, just not nearly hot enough to cash in on an "I'm hot" schtick. The one on the right looks like a cuter version of Kristen Schaal.

This is so terrible it has to be intentional. Flat, monotone, and nasal are just problems waiting to be fixed with current production tools.

Of course, lyrical content is another matter.

And this is the world my almost 11 month old daughter is growing up into. Fuck. I'd almost rather she have to deal with the blackface cake from the other day.

@4, you can't tell that for sure until they start stripping. Give 'em six months.

I think it's actually funnier if it isn't a joke.

Haha! "We're just like you, except we're hot!" I'm going to start using this. I have been having trouble finding new ways to be obnoxious.

@7: Kristen Schaal is the cuter version of Kristen Schaal, goddamnit. There's nothing cuter than Kristen Schaal.

Supreme Ruler Of The Universe 17

What's the point of a "hot girls" video if its shot in near darkness and mostly above the neckline?

I don't see the difference between these girls and any other kind of girl who relies on her looks to make money or get attention, except that this song is actually awesome because it's so terrible.

Personally, I don't find these girls depressing because they are so far removed from the type of people I'm friends with. It's when the punks (like the Suicide Girls) buy into this shit that I worry.

I really, really love that Lindy is writing at Jezebel now. I still miss her here, but at least there are less trolls in the comments that appear on my dainty little iPod screen.

@17 - my thought as well. Their hotness is their faces (and we can barely see those)? Most girls who have great bodies (and the one boasts about her ass) show them.

They may not be 3s but hot? Maybe if you are drunk guy at closing.

This is absolute troll genius.

In my book, you're doing something very, very right if you can get a bunch of self-congratulating leftists foaming at the mouth at a video on the theme of "it sucks to be objectified, especially when you can't do anything about it."

What do you want them to do, SLOG? Wear burlap sacks? Develop negative self-images? Consider themselves ugly? Lock themselves in their rooms until you've decided they're mature enough express themselves in ways you find agreeable?

This is the female version of Between Two Ferns, but the Riot Grrl generation is too old to get it.

Clearly the opinion of a person who has never witnessed a college music major's recital.

@34 I have witnessed many. I didn't say the music lessons would be successful but it's a start.
