I might like to have a whooping couch.

If only we lived in a society where a person studying disease for their entire lifetime was lent nearly as much credence as a celebrity parent who knows nothing.

That old "I know because I'm a MOM" chestnut people use is one of the stupidest lines of logic I have ever heard.

And how many whooping couches do you weirdos in Seattle have out there? I guess after you win a pulitzer you can't be bothered to edit anymore, HUH ELI?

Hey, cut Eli some slack. He'll be moving on to a real newspaper any day now. Until then, just think of him as being on vacation.

I am anti vaccines, but it's more about the needles. I turn into a fainting goat when I see one.

@5 You should really get over it. While getting most of these diseases as an adult isn't that bad, we are aiming for herd immunity. Plus if you get it as an adult it won't kill you but if you get it as adult and then hang around any small babies you could kill them because babies cant get any vaccinations until 8 weeks.

So a couple of Stranger writers have said "get vaccinated" , but neither of them have said "I got vaccinated". Or did I miss that post?

Anti-vaccer's are just one particularly dangerous category of an entire over-lapping genre of know nothing pearl clutching ideologically driven dipshits who've been given disproportionate voice and power thanks to the internet.

It all stems from the lack of critical thinking skills and the dearth of science education.

I lump them all together with Climate Change Deniers, the Porn Causes Rape people, and the kookier medical science deniers of the Fat Acceptance movement.

All of them latch on to some sort of !OUTRAGE! cause and run with it all fueled more by emotion and anecdote than fact.

Listen, dipshit, it's not about vaccines, it's about any oversight and manufacturing quality.

Are you the only moron who has yet to see that PBS clip of those vaccines which were sub-sub-subcontracted to an independent Chinese vendor, mixing them together in his non-sterile home bathtub??????

Have you actually read any data whatsoever about the where and why of vaccines? The number of times Baxter Pharmaceuticals and Baxter International has "accidentally" sent out the most toxically contaminated vaccine samples imaginable???

When that heperin (I'm recalling the name from memory, so it may be misspelled) killed people, China would not allow in FDA inspectors to check out their manufacturing process ---- get the message, round eyed fool? ? ?

Grow the fuck up and learning something, yet another Pulitzer Prize winning fool --- or maybe they did actually give out the prize this year for fiction? ?
